Special Issue Announcement
The Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control will publish a special issue collecting papers presented at the 14th Annual Conference on Computing in Economics and Finance organized by the Society for Computational Economics, to be held in Paris, France on June 26-28. Professors Herbert Dawid (University of Bielefeld) and Willi Semmler (New School University and University of Bielefeld) will serve as Guest Editors.
All conference participants are invited to submit their manuscripts, with the usual understanding that they describe original, unpublished work are not simultaneously under consideration for publication in any other journal. Papers submitted for the special issue should be in the area of Computational Economics and Finance. Only manuscripts dealing with issues of clear economic relevance and with substantial computational aspects will be considered. Submissions to the special issue will go through the JEDC’s regular peer-review process, but every attempt will be made to streamline that process so as to facilitate the timely publication of the conference papers.
Authors, please submit your conference paper electronically through the JEDC’s online editorial system at http://editorialexpress.com/jedc, marking it as a "special issue paper" and adding "2008 SCE Special Issue" in the comments field. There is no submission fee for the special issue. Submission deadline is October 15, 2008.
